• California State Home Page: Complete source for all state agencies.
• The California State Senate: Locate your Senator on-line, search legislation, legislative schedules and legislative analyses, search California state codes.
• The California State Assembly : Locate your Assemblymember on-line, search for legislation, legislative schedules and legislative analyses.
• Legislative Counsel's information service. There's a good reason to check out this legislative info site: "PDF" versions of bill text. You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader (it's free) to view the PDF files, which are exact replicas of the printed versions of bills (complete with the correct page and line numbers).
• The Legislative Analyst's Office: View or download LAO reports and analyses and regular updates on the state's fiscal condition.
• Senate Office of Research: Includes PICO, the Policy Information Clearinghouse Online, lots of links to other public policy sites, and other features.
• The California State Department of Finance: Provides access to the Governor's budget, demographic, and economic information.
• The California Statistical Abstract, published by the Department of Finance.
• Franchise Tax Board: Info and tax forms.
• Board of Equalization: Info, forms, meeting schedules, tax rates, etc.
• Employment Development Department: Info about unemployment taxes, benefits, and programs.
